Dyneon¢â THV¢â FP(a polymer of tetrafluoroethylene,
hexafluoropropylene and vinylidene fluoride)

THE (a polymer of tetrafluoroethylene, hexafluoropropylene,
and ethylene) is a product unique to Dyneon,
having an exceptional balance of tensile strength,
good electrical properties, and excellent
chemical resistance.
Because of its relatively low melting temperature,
THE provides ease temperature, THE provides
ease of processing and ability to process
on equipment without the high level of corrosion
resistance protection required by many other
fluoroplastics. Various grades of THE can
be used as wire and cable insulating materials,
or can be extruded into films for chemically
resistance linings or release layers.

It is used in molded valves, pumps, tanks,
filters and pipes, in heat trace cables and
in wire for appliances, computers and in the
aerospace industry. It is also used in several
chemical industry and home appliance coatings
applications.
Our UHP (ultra high purity) grades are designed
with very low metals and ion extractables
for critical semiconductor and pharmaceutical
processing applications, in components such
as wafer carriers, pipes and tubes, fittings,
valves and pumps.
Our recently introduced PFA-FLEX grades have
exceptional stress crack resistance and flex
life, as well as very smooth surfaces.

and electrical properties, and outstanding
resistance to abrasion and cut-through. It

Applications include wiring for nuclear plant
control rooms, extruded and molded valves,

resistant film and architectural films.

is ideal for multiple applications across

Widely used in the chemical processing industry,
